Nathaniel Rateliff makes his debut at the Pabst Theater on Tuesday, May 25th opening for the Tallest Man On Earth. show details >>

Nathaniel Rateliff was a mystery to us when he took the Turner Hall Ballroom stage opening for Mason Jennings last November. He came back to us appearing on the Daytrotter Barnstorming tour. His encore appearance landed on the same date that he released In Memory of Loss on Rounder Records. Through this 13-song collection, every emotion is captured and released. It’s wrapped in beautiful harmonies and can drive a sensitive ear to dab tears from the eyes. We coaxed Nathaniel and his band up the creaky stairs into the attic of an attic. Seriously. The result was “Shroud,” and while it doesn’t appear on the aforementioned new album, it does give you a beautiful summary of what his music is all about.

I saw Nathaniel Rateliff when they opened for Mason Jennings, and I was blown away! I am ecstatic in waiting for their performance with The Tallest Man On Earth next week. Some of the most beautiful music and singing that i have ever heard.
