Blind Pilot Performing “The Story I Heard” On the Milwaukee Riverwalk, just outside of the Riverside Theater.

When we met up with Israel and Ryan from Blind Pilot we knew we wanted to take advantage of the nice weather. The Riverwalk was packed with people, many waiting out the hours till Blind Pilot and The Decemberists took the Riverside Theater stage.

We had hoped to film a song next to the Bronze Fonz, but we couldn’t silence the music piping out from the Chinese restaurant. Instead, We chose to meander a little further down the river walk until we stood directly across from the Riverside Theater.

A couple cautious and camera shy passerby’s couldn’t help but to stop and enjoy the impromptu performance along the river.

Despite breaking a string during the performance, Israel persevered to deliver this beautiful rendition of “The Story I Heard.” I can safely say that we became pretty big fans of Blind Pilot that day, and we look forward to having them out in Milwaukee again in the future!
