Graphic Designer

Overview:

PTG Live Events, LLC, more commonly known as The Pabst Theater Group, is a multi-faceted entertainment organization that hosts over 800 live events annually across six venues in downtown Milwaukee: Pabst Theater, Riverside Theater, Turner Hall Ballroom, Miller High Life, Vivarium and The Fitzgerald. The Pabst Theater Group is dedicated to providing top notch hospitality to world-class artists and patrons alike.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resizing existing artwork using templates
  • Creating and managing web pages for events with the aid of a web builder
  • Building marketing emails using Hive email templates
  • Scheduling ads to display at our venues during events
  • Develop graphics and layouts for digital and print materials, including social media content, marketing materials, and other branding initiatives.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines and project requirements.
  • Ensure that all designs meet branding guidelines and adhere to design best practices.
  • Assist with additional day-to-day Graphics tasks as needed 
  • Work full time in office
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends as needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field or commensurate experience. 
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative and visually appealing design work.
  • Proficient in design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 
  • Collaborate with the team to create visually appealing graphics for various projects.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for the live music industry 

Optional Qualities: 

  • Previous experience using an email marketing platform
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and website design principles is a plus, but not needed.
  • Photography or Videography background including After Effects and Premiere Pro

 

Compensation and benefits:

Human Resources Manager (HR)

About the Position

The Pabst Theater Group is seeking a qualified Human Resources Manager (HR) to join our team. The HR Manager is responsible for managing all administrative HR aspects of the organization thereby ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has a passion for bringing out the best in people by championing personal and professional development as well as positive company culture.  

The accounting/finance team supports the HR Manager with payroll and daily administrative tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:

Strategically Lead HR Functions: Overseeing HR functions for the company, ensuring seamless processes for both exempt and non-exempt employees including recruiting, onboarding, and meticulous maintenance of personnel files.

Champion a Vibrant Company Culture: Support existing efforts and spearhead new approaches to nurturing a positive company culture, celebrating employee achievements, and promoting pride in the workplace.

Effective Communication Across the Organization: Provide company-wide updates and facilitate clear and open communication across the organization.

Benefits Administration and Compliance: Administer benefits programs, including life, health, and dental insurance, retirement plans, vacation, and PTO, while also maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, regulations, and recommended best practices. Required Skills/Abilities:

Partner Relations, Group Sales, VIP Account Executive

Primary Responsibilities:

 

●      Manage, maintain, and implement Partners/Sponsors relationships, Group Sales,
& PTG VIP Program guidelines

●      Create customized proposals, presentations, and promotional materials

●      Create sales plans to increase revenue

●      Sales prospecting for Group Sales, & PTG VIP program

●      Develop annual event(s) to assist in achieving revenue goals

●      Submit prospect activity reports, forecast reports, & provide briefings to management

●      Handle contracts, contract revisions, and servicing

●      Invoice clients and track payments

●      Interface with various departments

●      Inspire customer loyalty by building strong relationships with clients through follow up and support

●      Periodically attend shows to service clients in attendance

●      Perform other duties as assigned

Part-Time Positions

Box Office Clerk

Overview

Ballroom, The Vivarium and The Fitzgerald. The Pabst Theater Group is dedicated to providing top-notch hospitality to world-class artists and patrons alike.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Sell tickets, process ticket exchanges or refunds in person at the box office window or by phone.
  • Answer customer service inquiries whether in person at the box office window, over the phone or via email.
  • Process/package tickets to be shipped or held for will call.
  • Update, organize and clean Marquee tiles.
  • Cash handling and daily deposit reconciliation.
  • Complete special projects as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school degree or GED required.
  • One year of customer service, ticket sales, or clerical related work.
  • experience is preferred.
  • Cash handling experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel, Google suite and other related computer skills required.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail required.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative.
  • Strong sense of team and ability to work collaboratively with others.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and occasional holidays.

Security Guard

Overview:
The Pabst Theater Group (PTG Live Events LLC) in Milwaukee Wisconsin is seeking Part-Time Security Guard to provide and enhance security services during events for operation in its venues: The Pabst Theater, Riverside Theater, Turner Hall Ballroom, and Miller High Life Theatre.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Access control to both interior and exterior locations in all venues
  • Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
  • Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
  • Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
  • Checking credentials and screening individuals entering venues
  • Assisting tours and production staff with parking and street management logistics
  • Assist Event Operations and Production teams with other duties as assigned

Street Team - Volunteer

Overview
PTG Live Events, LLC, more commonly known as The Pabst Theater Group, is a multi-faceted entertainment organization that hosts over 600 live events annually across five venues in downtown Milwaukee: Pabst Theater, Riverside Theater, Turner Hall Ballroom, Miller High Life Theatre and The Vivarium. The Pabst Theater Group is dedicated to providing top notch hospitality to world-class artists and patrons alike.Street Team members are responsible for distributing promotional materials (flyers/posters) at various locations, venues, and events around the Milwaukee area. This is an unpaid position based out of Downtown Milwaukee.

Position Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Pick up flyers at designated pickup location(s)
  • Distribute flyers at locations on designated route(s) and other areas as assigned
  • Take photos of flyers/posters at these designated locations
  • Capture cell phone videos at Pabst Theater Group shows

Qualifications:

  • Must have a reliable method of transportation
  • Must have a reliable smartphone with HD and/or 4K video capabilities (most phones within the past 3-5 years)
  • Must be eager to talk to people about live music/events and willing to approach and interact with people they may not know
  • Must be available for 2-3 hours each month (generally mid-month) to complete designated route during local business hours of operation
  • Proficient communication skills
  • Willing to travel to various parts of the Milwaukee area
  • Prior street team experience is preferred, but not required
  • Passion for live music, culture, and social media
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Compensation:
This is an unpaid volunteer position. However, if accepted onto the street team, you will have access to free tickets for shows at Riverside Theater, Pabst Theater, Miller High Life Theatre, Turner Hall Ballroom, and the Vivarium based on ticket availability
